Its tone is okay, and mixed in with other real harmony it sounds fine. I can already sing harmony, and track multi-part tracks, but I have a deep baritone voice, and some high harmonies are a real stretch - uh, I mean screech. If I had an opinion about adding a corrective algo/developer to UAD, I'm much more of a fan of Celemony, but it's not something I think about very much.Ī couple weeks ago I received a 20% off coupon from CG, so I bought Antares Harmony EVO, and also needed to buy an iLok for it. Although, I have no problem with Antares as a company, or product, I just never thought the idea of "AutoTune Live" was a good fit with Universal Audio, but I would never hold it against UA.

I actually think it's a good thing that their products are not on the UAD Roster. I threw it in the garbage, and sold the second pedal on ebay.Īnd with the acquisition of TC Electronics by Behringer, I'm definitely out of the TC Electronics game. Then, my first pedal came back to me about 10 weeks later, and it worked perfectly. So, I just opened it myself and re-soldered a new switch. Really? Pretty sure the "on/off" switch is supposed to simply turn it on/off. Back on the phone with support and had a support tech tell me that I "just didn't know how to use the pedal".

Reverb was on all of the time, or you had to unplug from the pedal to get a dry signal. I ordered a second Hall Of Fame in the meantime b/c I really wanted to use the pedal live and during tracking, and since the first one was "in repair", I'd get a back up - second one arrived and the "true bypass" switch did not work. I called their support (uh oh) and was told that they would "fix" it if I sent it to them. And that happens from the best of companies. So, I ordered one and it came to me "dead on arrival". I swore to myself I'd never use one of their products again.įast forward a few years, and they came out with a pedal that was interesting to me: the "hall of fame" reverb. I had it fixed several times (on my own) and finally gave up and sold it. Unfortunately, when it broke down, there was nothing to do except work on it yourself (see "support" comment above) as they were completely unresponsive on any support front. They basically gave the buyer a "you're on your own" nod when you purchased.

It was a massive purchase, thousands of dollars, and support for that system from the company was non-existent. I think this is actually good news on both parts.įor one, I used to own a System 6000 'verb from TC - and at that time, they showed themselves to be the most unprofessional business I had ever done business with.
